Great product

2011 Buick Enclave has been acting up and very valve noisy regardless of gas octane. I did an oil change with your Oil Seal and when I started you can hear the tic tic tic noise and in less than minute it was gone!

Barslesks Oil Seal Additive

Added to my 1999 Hyundai 2.4L engine during oil change. So far so good. Oil smoke from exhaust stopped after about 75 miles of driving. Strongly recommend this product.

I purchased Oil Seal and was best thing I could have done. I was burning oil like crazy and was leaking somewhere, I just couldn’t find it. After using Oil Seal, it stopped. I haven’t had any more issues. I was having to add one or two quarts of oil every week. Thanks to Bar’s Leaks it’s been fine since.

Item works effectively

Have a 2001 BMW E38 740il with the MU42TUB44 engine – 142,468 miles at last oil change 2 days ago. I put this in to primarily protect and restore the valves and seals – quiets everything down immediately and noticeably – Vanos timing chain guide failure my biggest worry – understand the perceived inevitability of it – but timing chain rattle nonexistent on start up right through to any tapping or ticking noises reduced from subdued to very quiet.

No engine issues other than very, very minor oil leakage, have original Vanos guides and timing chains, drive conservatively – works beautifully with Castrol Synthetic A3-B4 5W-30 Euro Formula Oil. Bar’s Leaks Oil Seal is a compatible synthetic-based formula. No commercial message intended – just a pass along to fellow BMW MU42TUB44 engine owners with minor small issues for preventative maintenance. Really happy with the product.

Use with every other oil change

Oil Seal OS-1 is the product I used. 

The engine is an old Chevy 350, 182,400 miles. It’s going to be leaking oil and it did. After 2 applications your oil seal sure did the trick. I think of it as part of this old truck’s maintenance schedule. I’ll be adding a bottle every other oil change. It works!

I have 2002 Toyota Corolla LE and it was leaking oil from engine too much. Due to that, I had to constantly add engine oil. Also, I was getting a burning smell. After using Bar’s Leak – Oil Seal Engine Oil Burning & Leak Repair (OS-1), the leak has completely stopped. I don’t get any burning smell and I don’t have to add oil anymore. My wife’s 2005 Camry was losing oil somewhere.  There are tons of other products on the market but my research returned me to Bar’s Leaks.  The main cause of concern was for the VVT engine in the Camry and, from my research, the (OS-1) Oil Seal was designed with this in mind.  I’m not going to lie. I used Bar’s Leaks OS-1 on the recommendation of my mechanic, who told me that my 2005 pickup truck had a gradual and slow loss of engine oil being caused by what he described as more of ‘slow seepage’ than a true leak. I used your Bar’s Leaks Oil Seal product. 

My 2012 Mini Cooper Countryman was burning a lot of oil. After using Bar’s Oil Seal I could see a big difference in the amount of oil I had to add between oil changes. It really works! 

Oil Seal works

My Mini Cooper had an issue with burning oil. My valve stem seals were the problem. I added Oil Seal and it reduced the amount of oil I was burning. Also my exhaust was far less smoky. Product works!

Works for oil leaks!

Used Bar’s Leaks Oil Seal Engine Oil Burning and Leak Repair on a 94 Ford Ranger with 4.0L.  Old engine with high mileage 200k+ using/burning 1qt of oil every 1500 miles. With the high cost of oil thought I would try this.  Have went 3400 miles and 1 oil change since adding the Leak Repair and so far, I haven’t needed to top off the engine oil.  At this point I’m very pleased with this product and will continue to use it and have recommended it to a couple of my friends that run high mileage cars.

Oil seal leak

Had valve seals leaking on my 4.0l OHV Ford Ranger found this product from Bar’s Leaks and it truly worked. Added it with a new oil change and no more burning oil, lasted for 3 months for warmer weather for me to repair them with new seals.

Just a miracle

I have a PT Cruiser that was blowing smoke when I started it, it was terrible. I needed to try something so I bought your product and in approximately 250 miles of use, the engine was fixed.

did what I was hoping it would

Have a Jeep 4.7 that smoked at idle and had oil consumption issues (about a quart every 500 miles). Smoked a bit at idle but giving it gas it puffed out a very noticeable cloud of smoke to where it failed it’s emissions test. I am pretty sure it is a valve guide seal issue. I decided to try Bar’s Leaks OS-1 and it WORKED.

Our mower developed a leak at the cylinder head. Put Oil Seal OS-1 in at the next oil change, and after a few mows the oil leak was gone. Does exactly what it says it does. Great product.

HELLO I JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU JOB WELL DONE YOUR PRODUCT DID WHAT IT SAYS FOR MY WORK CAR. I PUT THIS PRODUCT IN MY ENGINE ON 1-27-2022 for light blue smoke. THAT HAPPEN WHEN CAR SITS OVERNIGHT AND WHEN IT STARTS UP NEXT MORNING IS LIGHT BLUE SMOKE AGAIN BUT STOPS IN FEW SECONDS.

My old Suburban had an oil leak that wouldn’t go away for months. Finally got sick of it and went to Autozone and asked if they had anything that would help. Did NOT want to spend any money on a full fix if possible because the truck has over 160K miles on it. Autozone guy recommend Bar’s Leaks and it worked within 30 minutes of me installing it. It’s been 6K miles and still no problems. I can’t recommend this product highly enough!!

Ever since I heard of Bar’s Leaks Oil Seal, I have added a bottle when I change oil. WOW. I do not see any spots on the floor! It works great! I have finally found something that does what it says it will do. I am not anxious to pull everything to replace the seal since I have a 4WD vehicle.
