You guys keep us on the road
I’ve been using Bar’s Leaks products for years. I learned about them from my grandfather most recently. I use it in my 1997 Ford expedition. It had a minor leak in the radiator and I was quoted over $600 to repair. I use the Liquid Aluminum radiator stop leak and the problem was solved in less than 5 minutes. In the time it took me to drive from my house to my work. The leak was completely stopped. I can’t say enough about these products. I recommend them to everyone and if anyone has a leak that they need taken care of, I use these products to fix their car. Keep up the good work guys. You’re keeping us on the road. Your products are making it so we don’t have to buy new cars or parts all the time. Thank you guys!

I used the Liquid Aluminum Radiator and Cooling System Fix #1186. I had a leak in my radiator on my Jeep Liberty and the product worked and it stopped leaking until I could get a new radiator.

Bar's Leaks products have always worked for me
Two years ago, I used the head gasket Bar’s Leaks on a nice old 1978 Allis Chalmers forklift I purchased for $1000 because it clearly was leaking into the cooling system, the water was milky and was lacking power, which is the telltale sign of a head gasket leak. I tried it, followed the directions and it has been fine since! It idles well, doesn’t overheat now, has power and the water in the radiator has been clear since.
I have had success over the years with this same product as well on other cars. 35 yrs ago, one of the first cars I had was a 1978 Chevy Nova with a 350 engine that had a head gasket leak and put it in and that fixed my problem as well, the gasket didn’t leak anymore.
Lastly, I had an old pickup, again, 35-40 yrs or so ago that had a small pin hole leak in the radiator, I really didn’t have money then to replace it, so I gave the Liquid Aluminum sealer a try and sure enough, it fixed it! I remember seeing where the pinhole was and it kinda looked like silver solder had flowed out of the radiator and sealed it. Again, good stuff that worked for me.

Still sealed 2 years later
The seal for the water pump in my V12 Jaguar engine was damaged near one of the bolts. Tightening it had no effect and replacing the seal would require a time-consuming removal of a number of components – so, as a shot in the dark I tried the Bar’s Liquid Aluminum. I really did not expect the leak to stop, but it did, and is still sealed more than 2 years later. The 5.3L Jag engine is a real heat-producing unit, so for the leak to stay sealed is a great testament to the Bar’s Leaks products.

Saved me big money
I used the Liquid Aluminum (1186) and it really worked!
Our minivan, 2010 Chrysler Town and Country had a slow leak but the smell of the coolant goes inside the cabin. Before doing an expensive repair, I tried using the Liquid Aluminum Heater core and Radiator Stop leak. After using it, it has been 2 years and no leak or smell. This product saved me costly repairs!

Heater core leak
I recently lost my job and started to deliver pizza for extra money. Today hour in to shift my 2004 Ford Ranger 3.0 v6 with 195,000 miles started to smell inside truck of antifreeze and windshield started to fog up. I knew the heater core must be leaking. Checked and repairs would be close to $500. I can’t afford that so I went to auto part store and they recommended your product. I put it the radiator. Drove for the rest of shift with the heater on since it was 20 degrees out. With in mins no more windshield fog… with in 2 hours no antifreeze smell in truck. Its like new. Great product…thank you.

Leaking aluminum radiator
While traveling, I was following a truck towing a trailer, and next, a highway construction cone came flying out from under the trailer, I had nowhere to go, and ran over it, right away, I noticed the temp gauge starting to rise, I pulled over, looked underneath, and the radiator was damaged, it separated it, so, I pushed it back together. Luckily, there was an auto parts store right there. I went in and bought this product, and antifreeze (it was 28 degrees out) I poured in the Bar’s Leaks Liquid Aluminum, and added antifreeze, started the car, it dripped a few times, then quit, I filled it with antifreeze, and headed on our way. The Bar’s Leaks stopped the leak, and has been sealed ever since, this happened about three years ago! It is a wonderful product, I would recommend it to everyone!

Liquid Aluminum is an excellent product. It stopped the radiator leak in my 1998 Ford Ranger 3.0 V6. There was a large puddle of coolant under my truck before using this product. It took about 30 minutes of driving for the leak to be sealed. One bottle of Liquid Aluminum was all that it took to seal the leak. Now there is no more puddle, and the coolant level in the overflow reservoir remains steady.

This fixed my heater core.
Hey I have 2002 Ford F-150 King Ranch that had a heater core leak that was pretty severe. I decided to give Bar’s Leaks radiator and heater core stop leak a try. And what I can tell you is this, you basically need to let it run through your system for a couple of days before you actually use your heater core and allow it to penetrate all parts of your radiator system. This is the best stuff on the market that I’ve ever found and I’ll be more than happy to tell everyone about it because it works as long as you do it the way it tells you to on the directions. Thanks Bar’s for creating a great product.

I decided to write to commend you for an outstanding product. I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand AM, V6 and with about 100,000 miles. About 6 months ago I had the Pontiac dealer flush the cooling system. I later noticed my car was slowly loosing coolant fluid with no evidence of a leak. At about the same time, my car developed an engine problem where it would misfire, rough idle when cold, and the “Check Engine” light would come on if I drove away too soon after starting the car. Unaware these problems were related, I had the Pontiac dealer replace the spark plugs and clean the fuel injectors per his recommendation. The problems did not go away even though I paid hundreds of dollars. To take care of the slow coolant leak, I decided to try Bar’s Leaks Liquid Aluminum. To my surprise, the engine problem my car had went away the very next day, and my car is no longer loosing coolant fluid! I am totally amazed and thankful for your product! It’s been two months now with my car running perfectly. After some research, it appears to me that my car’s engine had some kind of a head gasket leak that got repaired by your amazing product.

I bought a bottle of Bar’s Leaks Liquid Aluminum Radiator Seal at a local Napa store because I had a leaky water pump seal. The leak was so bad that I could only drive about ten miles before my coolant was gone and my engine would over heat. I am out of work so I really couldn’t afford to get a new water pump installed. I had a 200 mile trip to make on the week end and a job interview Monday morning thinking my car was toast and I would miss everything. I bought the bars leaks liquid aluminum on the friday before, just after my car overheated so bad that I thought the head gasket would blow, and added it in the parking lot of Napa. Within minutes there were no leaks from the water pump or anywhere else. Saturday I made my 200 mile trip and stopped by on the way home at the Napa store to tell the sales person who showed me your product how great it worked. I’ve never been so impressed by a product that really does what it says it will do and I’m writing this to thank you for a product that really works.

I drive about 40,000 miles a year selling carpet for Empire. The company is great, but times are still a little tough out there. I have a 2000 Ford Tauras with 234,000 miles on it. (Bought used a few years ago.) I need my car to work and survive. A couple days ago I started getting a big blast of steam from the radiator when I stopped. I cannot afford another repair. Put your Liquid Aluiminum in today with great trepidation. Drove for 25 minutes and stopped. No steam. God bless you. Your product is awesome. I did not sleep at all last night. Now I am relaxed because of you. Thanks!!!

On our way from Phoenix, AZ in April of this year my 1987 Southwind motor home overheated and after having it checked by a mechanic was told the thermostat probably froze shut causing the engine to overheat. Also, he said the radiator and intake manifold were leaking. I asked if he could just add a sealer to the radiator to get me home since it would take a few days to fix the radiator and intake manifold. He said they had a very good commercial sealer he used before with some success. I decided to give it a try.
The next day when we left we didnt make it to Albuquerque, NM before it overheated again. I filled the radiator with water and drove to Albuquerque looking for an auto parts store to try another sealer. I stopped at an O’Reilly store and asked the sales person there if he had any success with the radiator sealers and he recommended your product. I put the sealer in and took off the next morning and drove all day without a problem. In fact we drove 2 more days until we got home without a problem. I was really impressed with your product and would recommend it to anyone who has a leaky radiator. I believe it was far superior to the commercial product we started with. Thanks again for your product.

I had a front cover coolant leak on 20 yr old Ford van. It was in a spot so difficult it took me an hour taking stuff off to get a look at it. 1 can of heavy duty slowed it down quite a bit but didnt stop it. I figured I had a huge repair on my hands and in desperation added I an additional can of Liquid Aluminum. The leak stopped during the first heat up cycle and has held for a week now. Your product has allowed me to keep my truck on the road as I would not be able to work on it for a few months till the weather got warm. Excellent product, I will recommend it to all.

Just two days ago I noticed my 99 corvette was running a little hot, so I checked my radiator and it was all most empty, so I started to see where the leak was coming from, and found out it was my heater core. Because when I turn the motor off the front windshield with steam up and I could smell antifreeze, so I looked online to fix it myself, but you have to take the whole dash off to get to the heater core and that was not for me, so my next choice was to bypass it. But I needed my heat for my windshield in the morning to defrost them and besides that it’s cold this time of the year, so my third option was Bar’s Leaks. Picked up a bottle from Walmart and put it in the radiator in the parking lot while I was there, by the time I drove home 15 minutes the leak was fixed, and that will buy me some time until I get it fixed..unbelievable product.

I have a 2006 BMW X5 with 115,000 miles that developed a leak somewhere in the cooling system; I never located the actual point of the leak, but it was somewhere behind the radiator and on the passenger side of the vehicle. Maybe it was a seal in the water pump or a gasket someplace else – I have no clue – but was a pretty significant leak. Rather then take it to a shop, I decided to try Bar’s first. Following the instructions and with the heat on “high”, within 15-20 minutes the leak completely stopped just as advertised. I highly recommend Bar’s and I suggest using it when you develop a cooling system leak BEFORE you do anything else. Awesome product!

My mom has a 1999 Pontiac grand am se 3.4l v6 engine well she developed a strange coolant leak no one could trace you could see the drip but couldn’t track it without taking the engine apart so I snuck this in her radiator when she let me drive her car and just pretended like the hose clamp we tightened stopped it. I’ve only driven it 30 miles or so and still had a very very slow drip like every minute or so. Her’s has a pressurized coolant reservoir though so in that case it may take a bit longer to stop it all together because it has to pass through that tank and to the leak. I noticed a huge difference after that drive and I expect it to stop completely. It was a very fast drip going from that to a very very slow drip is a huge improvement! I put the 16.9 oz bottle in i bet it stops it!

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate Bar’s Leaks, had a leak with my radiator on a 2004 Jeep Liberty V6. Bought this after being told about it by several people, I followed the directions and put it in the next day. I noticed it seemed to be working then on the 3rd day no leaks were found and I still had coolant in my radiator. Long story short is your product kept myself & my wife from any missed time away from work. Now could this AMAZING product actually be a permanent fix ? I’m not sure due to me already ordering a new radiator for my Jeep and putting it in, but long story short is Thank You so much for making this AMAZING product. I almost decided to not install the new radiator and just keep running it the way I was but decided I had better put the new radiator in. Thanks y’all.
